


Tons of players play both ways in high school, with some tripling up as a kick/punt return, but very few have what it takes to play both ways at the collegiate level.
After high school Coach Hendrix joined the Southern Miss Golden Eagles as a 2-way player as a wide receiver on offense and on defense as a defensive back.
Single season highlights included being named defensive player of the week against UAB, Played in 413 snaps on the season, with a season-high 79 against Tulsa. Played in nine regular season games, with seven starts, finishing the year with 19 total tackles (13 solos, six assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, six pass breakups and one interception.
